The game of roulette has memory

The game of roulette has memory

Someone during a conversation in which I was a listener, it was this question, and several players made their superstitions and answered.

There are some who support the theory that the wheel has no memory, but it is a principle of balance so that what has gone can give us an idea of what will come out, ie if for a while has not repeated any number, is increasingly being closer than any recurrence.

This is not what can be termed as memory but rather event held on balanced game, and although there are moments of maximum imbalance, then the tendency to return the balance is inevitable. What everyone know is when will that balance.

Others put the example of events that occur in a particular casino, which gives a frequency of one release every two minutes or so. Between launch and another, the ball spins introduced in the box the number that is out. At some point the dealer picks it up and puts it to spin again. At that time when you can think that all numbers have the same choices again leaving.

Memory would be an attribute where the numbers that have come about we allow to establish the numbers end up coming in the next releases. The theory tells us that indeed it is possible to predict more or less accurate than the numbers expected to be out, but obviously it is not complicated in that prediction wrong.

Myths about Roulette

Myths about Roulette

In the game of roulette, like in other games of chance, can we speak of probabilities of success. You could say, for example, before launching a walk roulette, there are an equal number of chances to make the color red or black, which is true.

However, many people tend to confuse some game situations. One of the most common is the belief that if a game came out red, it is likely that the next chance to see more color contrast, ie black.

The reality is that the wheel has no “memory”, what happens in a move that would affect the next. This means that every move that is made is totally independent of any previous game that was made.

This means that if you bet red and the 16 unsuccessful and decided to return back the 16 red will have the same chance of success we had in the previous game because, as we said earlier, the game of roulette has no memory game.

Otherwise, if we get 16 red, there are so many possibilities of getting back if invest by 10 black or any other number. Despite this, most people would think that there is little chance of getting back to the 16 red and opt to choose another number that gives them “more likely” to appear.
